The Mount Allison Mounties defeated the UNBSJ Seawolves 3-2 in ACAA women's volleyball action at the McCormack gymnasium in Sackville on Saturday afternoon.
The Mounties fell behind early as UNBSJ grabbed the 1st set for a 1-0 lead. The home side answered back quickly by taking the 2nd and 3rd sets for a 2-1 lead before UNBSJ responded with a win in the 4th set. The Mounties would prevail in the 5th and final set to post the 3-2 win.
This is the 2nd straight win for the Mounties, who opened with a loss to UKC and then beat Universite de Ste. Anne last weekend.
