The Mount Allison Mounties women's hockey team returned to the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre on Friday night to play host to the Dalhousie Tigers.
60 minutes would not be enough to decide a winner or indeed find a goal in this one as despite ample opportunities from both sides, the game would head to overtime tied at 0-0.
Chelsea Krahenbil would be the hero for the Mounties on this night as her overtime goal would give Mount Allison their first win of the season.
Mount Allison (1-11-0) stay home for their next matchup on Wednesday, November 13th against the St. Thomas Tommies, puck-drop in that one is set for 7:00pm. Dalhousie (7-4-0) are back in action Saturday, November 9th at home in Halifax as they also welcome the St. Thomas Tommies with puck drop set for 7:00pm.
