Mounties beat Blue Devils to stay undefeated at home

(SACKVILLE, NB) Mount Allison welcomed UKC on Friday evening and would go on to win 67-42. This marks the second straight victory in the newly renovated McCormack Gymnasium for the home side.

Pacing the Mounties in this game were Abby Miller (Mt. Denison, NS) with 14 points and eight rebounds and second-year guard Kaitlyn Simard (Timmins, ON) with 15 points off the bench. Katie Feasby (Calgary, AB) would add nine points of her own as she went 3-for-4 from the three-point line.

The Blue Devils' Jenna Bain (Halifax, NS) logged in a game-high 40 minutes as she put up nine points, five rebounds and five steals. Nalini Maharaj (East Bay, NS) would add eight points and two steals coming off the bench.

UKC (3-8) will continue the road-trip and play Crandall tomorrow for a 1 p.m. tip-off.

Mount Allison (7-2) for their part hosts MSVU tomorrow at 4 p.m. for a battle of two of the top teams.
