Lady Mounties Grab Win in home Finale

The Mount Allison University Lady Mounties defeated the Crandall Chargers in their final home game before the ACAA Championships to be held at MTA from March 3rd-5th. The Mounties won by a score of 78-63 and found scoring from 9 players. The Mounties lead 38-23 at halftime and never looked back.

The Mounties ofensive attack was lead by Lauren Boyce with 15 points off the bench. Kiersten Mangold recorded 12 points, while Erin Steeves and Lauren Chitty each had 10. Kate Ollerhead had a team high 9 rebounds while Mangold recorded 7 rebounds. Everyone got involved. It was a total team effort.

Crandall was lead by Madison McHatten and her game high 27 points. Maddyson McDonald had 13 points while MacKenzie McHatten had 9. Micalea LeMoine had a game high 12 rebounds.

The Mounties make the trip to Halifax on Saturday for their regular season finale against the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics.
