Behind by as much as 15 point, the Mounties clawed back to close the gap. With 2:20 remaining on the clock the deficit had shrunk to 5 points. Unfortunately, they were unable to convert on the ensuing possession and Crandall went on to secure the win with a final score of 61-52 in the ACAA Semi-Final match-up.
A day after winning the ACAA Rookie of the Year award, Kiersten Mangold had a great game for the Mounties. She scored a team high 16 points and was named "Player of the Game" for her efforts. Almost matching her offensive contribution was Sarah McGeachy who scored 15 points of her own. The Mounties faced a stingy Chargers defense in this game and had difficulties from range, where only two shots counted for three points.
This concludes the season for the Mounties who finished with a cumulative record of 14-6 good. They finished the regular season in 3rd position in the ACAA.
