The Mounties rode a strong defensive effort to victory as they allowed only 23 points in the first three quarters combined. With a final score of 57-42, the Mounties are now 11-5 and have moved 4 points ahead of MSVU for third place in the ACAA.
Sarah McGeachy led the way with 7 defensive rebounds with four other Mounties picking up 4 or more rebounds. McGeachy, also had a strong presence offensively along with Sara Ripley as they both scored 14 pts for the Mounties.
The Mounties will be on the road tomorrow as they take on UNBSJ at 1:00 pm and will be closing out their season at home on Wednesday 6:00pm against Crandall.
