New Brunswick Long Course Swimming Championship Results

Four Mountie swimmers attended the Swim New Brunswick Long Course Swimming Championships this past weekend in Saint John NB.

Leading the group, Sebastian Cariaga won 6 Individual Events, taking the top Male Swimmer of the Meet Award, as well as the FINA High Point Award.

Ethan Scheerer took the Silver in the Men’s 100 Freestyle, 1500 Freestyle, 50 Butterfly and added a Bronze in the 50 Freestyle.

Ryan Duggan took Bronze in the 15/over Age Group 100 & 200 Freestyle events as well as the 200 IM.

Jude Dean, battling injury, combined with Cariaga, Scheerer, and Duggan to race to a Gold Medal finish in the Men’s 800 Freestyle relay.

Cariaga continues racing next weekend in Victoria BC at the Canadian National Team Trials.
