Sackville, NB - The Cape Breton Capers advanced to 4th place in the AUS after taking a 5-0 win off the Mount Allison Mounties on their home turf at Sackville's Alumni Field.
CBU's Joel Eckert-Ayensa scored the first of 2 goals at 9:13 and his team never looked back. Caper singles were notched by Daniel Pritchard, Marcus Campanile and Matt Larter.
CBU led 4-0 at the half.
The Mounties record is 0-3-1 and they are in 9th place.
Mount Allison visits St. Francis-Xavier on 24 September; Cape Breton on the 25th and returns home to play UPEI on 30 September.
