(SACKVILLE, NB) In the second meeting in six days between Mount Allison and Crandall, it was the Chargers who once again pulled away with the victory on the road. Final score of the game was 85-69.
Leading the offensive charge for the Mounties was Jonas Munroe (Moncton, NB) with 16 points, three rebounds and a pair of assists and steals. Minwoo Park (Fredericton, NB) would finish one assist short of a double-double as he added 11 points.
Former Mountie James French (Moncton, NB) haunted his old team as he poured in 35 points, going 7-of-10 from the three-point line, and adding eight rebounds and three assists. Gabriel Cormier (Moncton, NB) would add 19 points of his own to go with four rebounds and three steals. Collectively the Chargers would shoot over 52% from the floor.
Mount Allison (8-7) will go on the road to play MSVU on February 18 for a 3 p.m. tip-off.
Crandall (10-5) jump to a three-way tie for 2nd place with the win and will travel to Halifax to play UKC on February 18 at 5 p.m.
