Men's Basketball Mounties finally crack CCAA national rankings. They defeat Crandall to move to 10-1 and first place in ACAA.
The Mounties men's basketball team moved to 10-1 in ACAA conference play with a close hard fought 96-92 victory on the road versus the Crandall Chargers. The 13th nationally ranked Mounties were led by fourth year senior Brad Sanford with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Thomas LeGallais added 19 points, 6 assists and 3 steals in a well balanced Mountie attack. The Mounties, who are the fourth highest scoring team in the CCAA this year also received seventeen points and six rebounds from third year forward Mack Chisholm and Rod Joseph added ten points and seven boards for the Mounties.
The Mounties return to action this Sunday as they host their Nova Scotia arch rival Mount Saint Vincent Mystics.
