Mounties women's basketball welcomes Reese Nowlan
The Mount Allison Mounties Women's Basketball program is pleased to announce the commitment of Reese Nowlan who will be joining the Mounties for the 2020-21 season. The Miramichi native attended James M. Hil Memorial High School and is a two time NBIAA Allstar along with being named the 2019-20 NBIAA NorthEast Conference Player of the Year. Reese has also been part of three Basketball New Brunswick provincial teams including most recently the U17 team who attended Nationals in Victoria, BC during the summer of 2019.

She brings an outstanding work ethic, and a relentless tenacity and competitiveness to everything she does that will help us tremendously”, commented Head Coach, Ryan Chase. "We cannot wait for the opportunity to work with Reese and to see the impact she has throughout our program".
Reese will be entering the Bachelor of Science program in September. When asked about her decision to come to MtA Reese stated “After touring and experiencing the close knit atmosphere that Mount Allison offers, I knew it was the place for me. In the years to come I will work to push myself to the best of my abilities, supporting my teammates in every way. I am beyond excited and grateful to join the Mounties both academically and athletically this fall.”
