PETE MILLER - DEFENSIVE LINE COACH

Defensive Line Coach, Pete Miller, is entering his fifth season with the Mounties coaching staff. Since joining the Mounties in 2010, Miller has coached Mountie standout Justin Richard (2010-12) and AUS All-Star Luke Ekoh (2011).

Miller came to Mount Allison after being the linebacker coach at Bernice MacNaughton High School in Moncton, NB for eight years (2002-2009). During those eight seasons his team won four provincial championships (2004, 2006, 2007, 2008).

Miller was part of the coaching staff that brought U18 Team New Brunswick back to the Football Canada Cup where he was the Defensive Coordinator from 2011-2012 and LB coach in 2013.

Miller is a certified Master Learning Facilitator and Evaluator for National Coaching Certification Program and is currently the Executive Director for Football New Brunswick.

Pete has his Bachelor of Arts with a major in sociology with concentration in Canadian criminal justice systems from Saint Francis Xavier University, and is presently employed as a Program Officer with Correctional Services of Canada.

Pete has a daughter, Emma and resides in Moncton, NB.
