Sydney Umlah - Volleyball

JOEY'S PIZZA MOUNTIES FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that the Joey's Pizza and Pasta female athlete of the week for the week of February 22nd-28th is Sydney Umlah from our women’s volleyball Mounties.

Umlah, a graduating member of our Mounties women’s volleyball program, led the Mounties to a 5 set quarterfinal victory over UNBSJ at the 2016 ACAA Volleyball Championship. The Mounties lost to eventual champions MSVU in the semi-final on Saturday. During the championship Umlah was named an ACAA 1st team all-star.
