JOEY’S PIZZA MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that sophomore Mountie Alex Chisholm from the men’s basketball program is the Joey’s Pizza and Pasta Male Athlete of the Week for the week of January 5^th-11^th.

Chisholm, from Fall River, NS, had 2 strong performances as the Mounties split weekend league games with STU and UNBSJ. The Mounties lost a close 69-67 game against STU in Fredericton on Saturday and then rebounded to defeat UNBSJ 83-58 at home on Sunday. In Saturday’s game at STU, Chisholm had 19 points and 7 rebounds. On Sunday Chisholm 16 points including 4 three pointers to go along with 5 rebounds in only 24 minutes of play.
