Geraint Berger - Swimming

JOEY'S PIZZA MOUNTIES MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that the Joey’s Pizza and Pasta male athlete of the week for the week of February 22nd-28th is Geraint Berger from our swimming Mounties.

Berger, a 2nd year Mountie from Bedford, NS, competed this past week at the 2016 CIS Swimming Championships in Laval, QUE after having qualified during the 2016 AUS Swimming Championships at Dalhousie. Berger posted personal best times and he also qualified for Canada’s Olympic trials in the 50M freestyle race. Olympic trials are scheduled for April in advance of the 2016 Olympic Games this summer.
