Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that Emanuel Adugna (men’s basketball) is named the Joey’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week of January 20-26.

The Mounties went 1-1 last week, earning a win over UKC and losing a tough one in the final minutes to Holland College by just 4 points. Adugna, a first-year student from Toronto, had strong performances in both games, including 16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals vs. Holland.

The Mounties look to start up a new winning streak on Sunday, Feb. 2 as they head to Crandall for a 4 p.m. game.
