Daniel Bell Football

The Mount Allison Mounties are pleased to announce that the Joey’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week of October 11^th – 17^th  is Daniel Bell from our football program.

Bell, a third year defensive back from Saint John, NB, played a large role in Saturday’s 24-14 win for the Mounties over Saint Mary’s. With the win, the Mounties moved to 3-1 and clinched an AUS football playoff spot. Bell had 2 interceptions, 1 breakup and 5 tackles on the day as the Mounties defense continues to play stingy football. As a team, the Mounties had 4 interceptions in the game.

The Mounties now enjoy a bye week before the returning to action when they travel to Acadia (1-3) on Saturday, October 30th.
