JOEY'S PIZZA MOUNTIES MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that the Joey's Pizza and Pasta Male Athlete of the Week for the week of October 5th to 11th is Christian Plante from our Mounties football team.

Plante, a 5th year Mountie from Dartmouth, NS, continued his strong play on Thanksgiving weekend as the Mounties won their 2nd straight road game, this time downing StFX 27-17. With the win, the Mounties hold on to a share of 1st place with Acadia at 3-2. Plante led a Mounties defense that scored 21 points off StFX turnovers in the win for the Mounties. Plante jumped on a StFX fumble in the end zone for a touchdown. He also had 6.5 tackles including 1.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for losses.
