JOEY’S FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that the Joey’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week of January 16th-22nd is Kathleen Morrison from the Mounties women’s basketball program.

Morrison, a 2nd year forward from Halifax, NS, helped lead the Mounties to a 1-1 weekend swing through Halifax. On Saturday Morrison had 19 points and 6 rebounds as the Mounties defeated Kings 78-65. During Sunday’s loss to MSVU, Morrison added 15 points on 6 of 8 shooting from the field.
