Maddy Koughan - WHOC

JOEYS’ FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that Maddy Koughan of the women’s hockey Mounties has been named the Joey’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week of January 7th-13th.

Koughan, a 4th year Mountie from Mermaid, PE leads the Mounties in scoring with 9 goals and 5 assist in 21 games so far this season. On Sunday, Koughan scored a late goal for the Mounties as they pushed to tie UNB. In the end, the Mounties dropped a close 3-2 decision to the Reds.
