JOEYS’ FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that Karly Buckingham of the women’s basketball Mounties has been named the Joey’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week of January 28th-February 3rd.

Buckingham, a 3rd year guard from Moncton, NB, scored 8 points in 16 minutes of play during Sunday’s 46-30 win over the UNBSJ Seawolves. Buckingham is averaging 8.7 points per game for the Mounties. Buckingham also currently ranks 9th in the ACAA with 20 3-pointers made so far this year.
