James Parker FOOTBALL

The Mount Allison Mounties are pleased to announce that the Joey’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week of October 25^th – 31^st  is James Parker from our football program.

Parker, the Mounties kicker/punter from Abbotsford, BC, was instrumental in the Mounties 13-8 win over Acadia on Saturday. Parker was 2 for 2 on field goals, connecting from 42 and 41 yards. He also averaged 40.2 yards per punt and ran 17 yards on fake punt to pick up a key first down for the Mounties on their opening drive touchdown.

Parker and the Mounties finish the regular season by hosting the Bishop’s Gaiters at Alumni field on Saturday, November 6^th at 3PM. The same two teams will face off a week later for the AUS semi-final game on Saturday, November 13^th.
