Mount Allison’s Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce that Hayley Wood (badminton) is named the Joey’s Female Athlete of the Week for the week of January 27-February 2.

Wood, a fourth-year biology student from PEI, went 5-1 in ACAA competition last weekend at Dal AC, including a second-place finish in mixed B doubles with partner Will Ngo, and first place in women’s B singles.

The Mounties compete next in the ACAA Championship and CCAA National Qualifiers at UKC — February 15-16.
