USA had a great start to the match, but with a injury shortened line-up, the Dragons could not hold off the determined home court Rams. In the first set, the Dragons defense was the key in slipping by the Rams 25-23. However the Rams fought back and through rallies that extended the first three sets , DAL AC gained confidence in each set to take the match 3-1. Alexandria Jackson, Thea McLachlin and Sam Fanning had 45 kills to lead the Rams but it was key kills by Jackson that earned her the Player of the Match honors for the Rams. Jolyane Chamberlain was the Player of the Match for the Dragons with 3 kills and 8 digs.
