The Mounties fell to MSVU 87-78 on Saturday afternoon and now possess a record of 7-11. They are currently tied with UNBSJ in the fifth position in the ACAA standings. The top six teams at the end of the regular season will make it to the ACAA Championships to be hosted by MSVU on the March 4th-6th weekend.
Bradley Fuller and Alex Chisholm led the Mounties offensively, each putting up 18 pts. They were also the main presence on the boards for MTA with 8 and 6 rebounds respectively.
The Mounties will be on the road tomorrow as they take on UNBSJ at 3:00 pm and will be closing out their season at home on Wednesday 8:00pm against Crandall.
