The Mount Allison women's soccer Mounties picked up their first win of the season on Saturday when they defeated the UdeM Aigles Bleues in Moncton.
The Mounties walked away with a 3-1 victory on the strength of two goals from Subway AUS Player of the game Amanda Piltzmaker. Piltzmaker now leads the Mounties with 3 goals this season. Freshman Hayley Woodside also scored for the Mounties, picking up her first career AUS goal in her 9th game.
Catherine Dupuis was the goal scorer for Moncton. Freshman keeper Sophie Austin made 9 saves in goal for the Mounties to pick up her first career AUS win.
The Mounties will now travel to Saint Mary's for a 1PM start on Saturday, October 20th before returning home to host Cape Breton for the final home game of the year on Sunday, October 21st.
