(SACKVILLE, NB) Mount Allison welcomed Holland College in the second game of a doubleheader and gave the crowd much to celebrate as they stormed back in the fourth quarter to win 88-85.
Led by the ACAA's leading scorer Noah McCarthy (Fredericton, NB) who contributed 25 points, four rebounds and four steals the Mounties went on a 13-0 run to close out the game. Other notable performances for Mount Allison were Emanuel Adugna (Toronto, ON) with 16 points on 5/9 from the three-point line and Minwoo Park (Fredericton, NB) with 11 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Leading the charge offensively for the Hurricanes was the trio of double-digit scorers Jalen Menzies (20 points, 8 rebounds & 3 steals), Kyree Thompson (18 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists & 7 steals) and Logan Rempel (10 points, 8 rebounds).
Mount Allison (4-4) will host UKC on January 27 at 8 p.m.
Holland (8-2) for their part will host the Tommies on January 28 at 5 p.m.
