In addition to his leadership role at Université Sainte-Anne, Jacques worked as the Sports Coordinator for the 2019 Canada Winter Games and Volunteer Coordinator with Athletics Canada for 2018 Canadian Track and Field Championships. He has also worked with the National Arts Centre, SP+Gameday, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ National Organising Committee.

The Director of Athletics and Recreation oversees a broad-based athletic and recreation portfolio which includes programs, activities and services at the varsity, intramural, club, and recreational levels. Leading a dedicated and talented team of coaches, staff, volunteers, participants, and student-athletes at all levels of sport, Bellefleur will continue to build on the organization’s growing commitments to both student athletics and the wider community. Mount Allison athletics programming includes intramural, recreation, club, with representation in the ACAA/CCAA, and AUS/U SPORTS.
